I make no excuses for the things I say or feel. On my blog, it's my opinion and I won't apologize for them. Just keep in mind, it's "My Blog, My Thoughts."

Cheating....AGAIN????
Okay, look, bleck!!!
Another man has cheated. I want to scream "SO WHAT!!!" but it's not really how I am feeling. Cheating has been happening since forever. At one point, it was accepted. The woman didn't leave her man just because he cheated. She stayed in it for her children or because she loved him or both. Now, don't get me wrong about this. It is sooooo wrong for it to happen and I wouldn't say I would stick around. I feel I would consider the situation and why he cheated. If it was a one night stand that "just happened" because that is always the response, then I could work out of that. I probably could work it out if he cheated multiple times too. That doesn't mean to run over me though.
Bill Clinton, Tiger Woods, John Edwards, John Kennedy, Thomas Jefferson, Jesse James (Sandra Bullock's husband), Michael Jordan and the list goes on and on and on have all cheated on their wives. Women cheat too, so it's not just about the men but I am tired of the media making it seem like these men owe everyone an apology. I don't care that Tiger Woods cheated on Elin and he only owe his apology to Elin. I am not hurt by what he did nor will I stop watching golf (hell, I never started watching it...:) ). John Kennedy was with Marilyn Monroe and no telling who else and Bill Clinton got some head in the oval office... BOOOOO!!!! Who cares??? I feel that marital issues should stay within that marriage. It's no one's business who cheats other than their spouse.
I have to touch on the women who cheat with these men. Why do they think it's okay and why do they continue to fall for the foolishness and then when it is brought to light, they act all innocent and act as if they were used. No one told you to have sex with Tiger Woods. No one forced the other woman to give Bill Clinton head in the Oval Office and no one cares about Reggie Bush cheating. If he says he is leaving his wife for you, chances are, he's not so get over it. If she is going to allow him to keep using her, than so be it but if she don't want to be used, let it go. If she stays, she has to be prepared for the lies. If he would cheat on his wife and lie, why does a woman think he won't cheat or lie to her. He, most likely, stood before God and took vows with his wife and he took none with the other woman. I just find it silly.
Believe me, I love Sandra Bullock and I wish her husband hadn't cheated, but I hope the media will leave them alone. Whether she should stay with him is not a question we should even give an opinion. She is marred to him and she will decide what she will do. We are all on the outside looking in. When I marry, I pray my husband doesn't cheat on me but if he does, no one would need to know he did. If I decide to stay will be my business.
Cheating is bad but it's not our business if it's not our spouse. Everyone should think how they would feel if their indiscretions were publicized and the media got to it, how would you feel about it?? I doubt anyone would like it. I wouldn't.

You are so right girl. These are private matters that need to be dealt with at home. I feel for the children who are put in the middle of this public display. Let the wives make the decisions to leave - privately. It's basically none of our business!
ReplyDeleteI agree completely. It has gotten completely out of hand thanks to the media.
